Northwestern Cross Country is inviting all girls in grades 3-8 to the campus of Northwestern University for a FREE Running Clinic on Sunday, Nov. 10!

Northwestern freshman Ellen Patterson and sophomore Jessie Baloga paced the Wildcats in their appearance at Friday's Illini Open hosted by the University of Illinois, finishing third and fourth overall in a field of 56 runners.

With much of the Northwestern roster in training for next week's Big Ten Championships, the Wildcats will also be well represented at Friday's Illini Open 5K meet in Urbana, Ill.

Against one of the most nationally competitive pre-championship fields assembled this season, Northwestern placed 34th at the 2013 Wisconsin Adidas Invitational at the Thomas Zimmer Cross Country Course Saturday afternoon in Madison.
