The Northwestern cross country team has a busy schedule ahead as the `Cats continue their outdoor season with a split-squad weekend. NU will send a total of 14 student-athletes to competitions at Stanford, San Francisco State and University of Chicago.

Northwestern cross-country kicked off the 2015 outdoor track season with a number of strong individual efforts, and one excellent relay, this weekend at the John Mitchell Alabama Relays.

Northwestern cross country is headed south to kick off the 2015 outdoor track season. The `Cats will run on Friday and Saturday at the John Mitchell Alabama Relays on the campus of the University of Alabama.

Northwestern earned All-Academic Team honors and two Wildcats, Andrea Ostenso and Jena Pianin, distinguished themselves as All-Academic individual honorees for the 2014-15 cross country season

Several personal records fell on Saturday at the Alex Wilson Invitational at Notre Dame, including Andrea Ostenso posting the best 3,000m time of any Wildcats runner this season.

After establishing ten personal records last weekend at the GVSU Big Meet, Northwestern aims to carry that momentum into a very competitive Alex Wilson Invitational on Saturday at Notre Dame.
